  1. yes but

bass and guitar wont have that boom sound

guitar on a bass amp will be very muffled

Its not worth the sound at all

  2. yeah u can do that

  3. Yes you can, but there is a reason why there are bass and treble guitar amps! :D

Treble guitar amps have a pre-amp which best suits a treble guitar's ability and frequency response, and the same goes for a bass amp - you may find that the frequency response of the treble amp with your bass guitar may not be as good as you would like, especially with low frequency notes such as 100Hz or lower.  It depends on the capabilities of the pre-amp and the power-amplifier in the treble guitar amp, but the best way to find out, is to try it. :)

Also, a bass-amp is generally much more powerful then a treble amp, as low-frequency signals are absorbed into the surrounding walls etc much more readily then treble frequencies, so more grunt is needed to make up the difference.  The human ear has about a -3dB sensitivity to low frequencies relative to high frequencies, so you usually need around twice the power of a treble amp to be heard in a loud practice session, and not be drowned out by the lead guitar.  A 150W RMS bass-amp up full in your room will give you very loud bass, but a 150W RMS treble amp and guitar would just about make your ears bleed! :D

However, a 150W RMS treble amp and guitar, matched up with a 300W RMS bass guitar amp and guitar would be able to compete with each other even at full volume.

Also, the treble guitar amp which has the effects you want, can most likely be purchased as separate add-on effects pedals for your bass guitar, or you could even use the line-out on the treble guitar's amp-head, to feed your bass guitar amp.  It's amazing what can be done with some experimentation!!!

    :)

  4. A bass guitar on a guitar amp would be ok but keep in mind that you will need to adjust bass and treble controls on the amp to get the sound you want. Ive been running my 6 string electric and my 12 string electric/acoustic through a bass amp for years.
