When i let chichi out it can be hard to find her. i saw the collars for ferrets but i don't know if they'll work for chinchillas.

  1. It should work, i would use a comfort harness. I think its man. from superpet.

  2. If one would work, it would be the ferret sized ones, I think the ones for rabbits would be too big. I highly doubt you'll be able to find a collar that would actually stay on your chinchilla. And, even if you could find one that would stay on, I really don't recommend using collars on them (I don't like them for ferrets either). Chins and ferrets can fit into much smaller spaces than a cat or dog, and those smaller spaces are usually full of things that a collared animal could get stuck on. Then it would be even harder to find your chin, and she could even strangle herself to death or severely injure herself while trying to escape. Please, stay away from using collars on your chinchilla! If you have a hard time finding her, then limit the space she has access to. Keep her confined to one room or close the doors to the rooms with the most hiding places. Also, make sure the area she does have access to is completely chin-proof. You need to make sure there's no holes leading outside, into the walls, under the floors or cabinets, etc.

  3. If it fits honestly then it should work, I would check out the weight limits though and make sure before you buy the stuff that it will indeed support your chinchilla! Good luck!

  4. It should if not they sell rabbit ones try one of those!
