Can you use a fridge or deep freeze outdoors in Canada during the winter?

I don't know if they will work in sub-zero temperatures.

why do you need one? wouldnt it be cold enough just to put them in a box?

if you have a deep freeze outside in the winter in canada, as long as it is in good working condition it should be fine.

a freezer would be fine.

a frig would be harder.

it doesn't have a heating element, and you'd be wanting it to be warmer inside than it is outside.

It's generally not recommended - the cold weather is very hard on the compressor and can shorten the life of the appliance.  Ask someone who repairs appliances for the most accurate answer.
