Im thinking about using one but i feel kind of awkward doing it. Will the brand name on the side draw any attention? I am shipping a pair of shoes but have never used a shoe box to ship anything before...

  1. Shoes only, in a shoe box.  Otherwise they might think it's a bomb.

  2. You CAN ship something in a shoebox, but I DON'T recommend it unless it's a very heavy cardboard.  Most shoeboxes are just a single layer of cardboard, like a cereal box, and don't provide much protection for anything fragile... the boxes tend to crush easily.  It's much better to use something like the free USPS Priority Mail box and fill the extra space with newspaper or packing peanuts.  There are several sizes of flat rate boxes, meaning no matter what you put in there, you will pay just the flat rate for that box... whether it's two pounds or fifty pounds.

  3. Yep, I've not done it personally, but I've gotten shoes shipped to me from RackRoom. They just tape the box up well and put labels on it.

If you're too worried, you can buy plain brown paper and wrap the box like a gift..you can buy the brown wrapping paper at dollar tree..It's the same paper as a paper bag at a grocery store.

  4. i think you should be able to do it.  because you can send already send stuff in those paper bag like evenlopes

I suggest to wrap it in paper so there isn't anything other than the address on it.
