Can you use any Allen wrench to adjust the weights on Taylor Made drivers?

I bought a used Taylor made driver that did not include the weight changing wrench.

  1. No it won't work.


  2. You can't use the allen key to remove the wights, use the torx tools to remove it, you can buy itt o any hardware store. I done it before.

  3. I own the R7 Superquad.  You need a torque wrench.  I'd suggest buying the one that matches your driver from TaylorMade.  The torque wrench they sell won't allow you to overtighten the moveable weights.

  4. The weights in a TM are Torx head  Not allen head.

  5. No, you need the tool that comes with the driver in order to adjust the weights.

  6. is taking in with you and find an a Allan wrench and purchase it.  

  7. You should go back to whereyou purchased it to have your swing analyzed and have the Club Tech adjust it so it is done properly.
