Can you use any liquid color with an airbrush machine?

Question

You know those small airbrush machines.. can you use any liquid with color with them?

I know, the viscosity should be as liquidy as possible.. but are there other things I should consider?

Get the proper latex paints and mix well.

I don't see a problem, as long as the paint gets through the brush.  You might want to consider wearing a dust mask if doing a long session.  

Clean the brush as soon as you're done using it.  Otherwise you're out an expensive tool  (ahem)
