Can you use cheat codes for xbox live?

sometimes ill come across someone to where they seem invincible, or where normally one hit would do minimal damage, one hit kills people instantly, always have weapons when no one else does, ect. is this possible? i know for online games, my fave Half LIfe 2 that cheating will get you banned forever from playing online, why isnt it this way for xbox

No, you can't cheat, it's usually due to all the Lag or Bad Connection,

It happens, and if you're new to this, it's easy to believe that someone is cheating, because I did too, and so does everyone else when they start playing online, so no worries.

Xbox does ban you if you hack or cheat online, and if you see it, you can report them, or if the game has monitored serveilance than they can instantly ban some one.

XBL Does punish cheaters, and on top of that marks their gamertag as such and make them look like total morons to add insult to injury.

But don't attribute to malice that you can attribute to something much simpler. Some players are REALLY skilled and spend a lot of time on the games, and thus will know where everything is, and how to get them quickly and use them efficiently. Also if you have high ping lag, then they're going to seem like they're superfast and agile when they're really not, it's just your system not being able to process their movements fast enough.
