I have only ever used ground beef, but I was wondering if you could just shred the chicken, and then cook it like normal with the packs of seasoning. Or, if you have another recipe that would be better, let me know..

  1. I make it with chicken more than beef! I buy the rotisserie chickens in the deli and shred the meat in to a pan, warm it a little and add the seasoning mix with about 1/4 cup water and cook through..YummY!

  2. Yes you can.  On some of the taco seasoning packages it says you can use it with chicken.  Just saute your cut up chicken with the taco seasonings and a little water and it will be great.

  3. Yea & even pork - yum

  4. Makes it kinda like fajitas.

  5. You definitely can! I have done it tons of times and then topped with the usual "taco" toppings or added green peppers and onions for quick "fajita" style roll ups in flour tortillas.

  6. Yes! It's delicious! I usually boil my chicken, then drain and shred it, then put it back in a skillet and saute it with taco seasoning and maybe some diced onions or peppers or whatever you prefer. A great way to cook it is to fold it in a flour tortilla, like a taco, then hold it together with toothpicks and deep-fry it. Not too healthy, but it definately tastes great!

  7. yes, it does work

  8. Yes you can and its great.

  9. Yes you can.  It's been done before and it taste pretty good.
