Question:

Can you use coupons on sale items at most stores?

I'm confused. I went to Kmart a while ago and they wouldn't accept a coupon on a sale item. CVS sales flier says that they have a product on sale, but look for a coupon in the Sunday paper. Does that mean that you can use a coupon along with the sale?

  1. Yes, you should be able to use a coupon along with the sale. I've seen a lot of stores lately that take coupons for all items except clearance.

  2. I don't know about Kmart (luckily they pulled out of here a while back, yeah!), but yes, at CVS you can ABSOLUTELY use coupons on sale items.  In fact, if you have a CVS coupon for an item you can also use a manufacturer's coupon on the same item.  This also works at Target.  I don't understand stores that won't take manf. coupons, as they are MAKING money and items fly off their shelves!

  3. All stores have different policies. The coupon usually has small print on it stating if it exempt from use on sale items. Other wise it  is fine to do so. Many people wait for the sales to use the coupons, like do!
