Can you use craigslist to find a birthmother?

You can find birthmothers anywhere now a days.  But, I don't think you are looking for a woman who already relinquished their child for adoption.

If you are looking for an expectant mother, than you should work with an agency or an adoption lawyer.  Advertisements for potential birthmothers can be illegal depending on your location, and they are just plain tacky everywhere.

If an expectant mother is considering an adoption plan, she should receive counseling first and foremost about why she thinks adoption is necessary.  She should not be presented with potential adoptive parents until after some serious thought and unbiased counseling has taken place.

And please don't reply stating this is networking, because adoption networking = advertising.

I highly doubt it. You have to think if your birthmother would be looking there....most likely not.

The best way to find you birth mother is to hire a private investigator. For about 700 bucks they will find her in a couple of weeks.

I am sure people have tried but, I wouldnt do it. Its just not safe to try something like that and your more likely to get cheated.
