Can you use dial up with the new iMac?

I am usually on a high speed connection, but during the summer my family moves out to a more rural area and we only have a dial up internet connection and i have to use this crapped out dell laptop that is as old as the hills! I know that there isn't a jack in the back to support the dial up cable, but i was wondering if I could get a plug for the back or something to hook it up to dial up.

is this worth all the go about or is this an impossible feat?

You would need to get an add-on modem that plugs in via the USB port.  Apple makes them or there are several other companies that also make them.
