Can you use diff strings on diff racquets?

i am have wilson ncode ntour. i broke the strings today and am gonna go restring it soon. it says on the side that i should use Wilson NXT strings. is it something i need to do that is good for the racquet? if i use diff kinds of brand string will it ruin the racquet or make my racquet work diff?

  1. No worries, any strings will work on the racquet. Most players (professional and novice) have different companies for their strings and racquet. It's really just what feels right for you.

    The only thing you'll want to keep in mind from the racquet information is the string weight. You don't want to get it strung any higher or lower than the recommended amounts.


  2. omg it will definitely not ruin ur racket (although it might if u go way above on the recommended tension). And no it will not make your racket work different.... strings should be fit for your playing style and not what it's "recommended". The strings they say on the racket is sometimes for advertisement to buy their string....

  3. don't use the suggested. I've tried NXT and hate it. I am now using Tecnifibre NRG2 and like it much more
