People used to use gasoline in lighters and it was okay, but you'd be far safer to use lamp oil.

Gasoline is not a very safe fuel.  It vaporisez - take a cup of gas and let if vaporize... you have enough energy to blow the second floor of your house across the street.

use kerosine... there are no vapors... its the perfect flammable liquid to play with

It will stink and make the cigarette taste bad. It will also ruin your lighter, spend a couple of bucks and buy lighter fluid. Don't use gas.
