  1. NO never ever use any human meds on a reptile...thats just crazy talk......please dont believe everything you read on the net!

You say you have tried lots of stuff....im assuming all home remedies.......

Go to your local pet store and get some reptile "de flea" or "mite off".

If you have mites so bad that one has already died....you have problems....get the right stuff and it usually works pretty well even if it doesnt work with the first treatment......read the instructions and treat again as soon as you can.

Change your bedding and thoroughly clean your cage...before you put new substrate put some mite gaurd dust.....this will help new eggs from hatching and it will kill the adults..mites.

Your gonna kill the other one too if you keep treating with human stuff.....mites and lice are not the same thing and although it might kill the bugs ....the chemicals are also absorbed by your reptile so....STOP IT!!! and get some dang deflea!

  2. NO. NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the oils from the lice shampoo will hurt your beardies skin. NOOOOOOOOOOO do not do it!

  3. No, I would suggest going to your local pet store and getting reptile relief as it is specificly meant for reptiles.  It will only cost around $10 for an 8 ounce bottle and it will kill any type of external paracites.  Using human products can cause more serious complications because if ingested by your beardie, the chemicals (even if they are safe for humans) would most likely kill it and many other skin conditions could result.  I hope this helped you and good luck dealing w/ your mite problem.

  4. NO

stop trying human things and get a reptile specific de-mite-er

    common sense

  5. omg no you'll kil it! they are a lot smaller than people and don't have the same type of skin and they don't have hair!

  6. no you'll kill them if mites is a problem then get a mite treatment either from your vet or pet store that is safe to use with reptiles, any chemicals that are ment for humans can kill reptiles so stick to what is safe

  7. no use clove oil or a over the counter mite spray clean the tank and have them soak in enough water to cover the whole body don't let them drown themselves though
