  1. I just answered your last question. You cannot injection mold already formed MDF. But, you can mold it before it is made into sheets.

    An injection molding machine works like this; The part to be made is hollowed out of a steel block. The block is made to come apart in two or more pieces. That steel block is called a Die. The Die is bolted into the machine and a nozzel is put into a special hole in the Die. The mixture to be injected into to the Die is in a slurry form. The slurry is then fed into a jack s***w which when turned, forces the slurry into the Die at tremendous pressure.

    Very basically, that's how injection molding is accomplished.

  3. Are you asking if wood (or even worse glued together wood waste = MDF) can be used to form a mold in which hot molten plastic is injected at thousands of PSI? If so the answer is NO WAY.
