Can you use ipod speakers for iphone?

i am going to buy an iphone and i was wondering if it will be able to fit in most ipod video compatible devices. for example i bought a computer monitor that has a docking station and i have some speakers that it plugs into. will i be able to use those or will i have to buy something else?

Yep. All iPods have the same connector part, and the base of iPhone is thin enough to fit any dock :)

yes i have an iphone that fits into a logitech speaker system

the connections on every ipod/iphone are the same regardless of the style so docking should be no problem.
