Can you use district services if you homeschool? Like speach or anything? BTW I live in CA and use the Charter School K12 through CAVA.

  1. I believe that K12 through CAVA is actually a public charter school, so you are actually enrolled in public school even though you're doing your learning at home.

  2. Yes, especially since using K12 through CAVA means you're actually enrolled in public school even though you do it at home.

  3. You should be able to, because enrollment in CAVA constitutes public school enrollment.  You may find that your local district resists this, however.

  4. You should be able too. We used the PS Speech therapy for my son but we are in La. The laws in Ca may be different. It's something you are going to have to look into. I don't usually recommed that one calls the school board for anything pretaining to the law because they want your child no matter what and may tell you that he has to be enrolled even if the law states differently. Are you an HSLDA member? If so call someone there first and ask.
