Can you use modpodge on a wooden picture frame?

I am going to make a wooden picture frame and glue pictures that i print off my computer...

can i use it? will it smudge the pictures?

  1. Just make sure the pictures dry completely.

    and it should be fine


  2. Tip: instead of buying Modpodge, you can use ordinary white glue and mix it with water.  You can adjust how thick or thin the mixture is; I've decoupaged a lot of things that way.  It works great!

It will work.  I worry about cleaning it, modge podge is water soluable, If you use a spray cleaner I'm sure it will soften the Mod Podge and rub off on your cloth.  The way to avoid this is to use a clear acrylic sealer after you last coat of the Mod Podge has dried completly.  That will work beautifly.
