Can you use one wireless router to pick up the signal of another wireless router and broadcast?

  1. If you do this with a router, you will have to use special firmware.  They also sell wireless range expanders that are setup in the box to do just that.

  2. Yes, this is called "Daisy Chaining".  However this is not a plug and play task as several setting will need to be changed to make it work. Wireless access points might be more appropriate and easier to configure in this case.
