Can you use ordered phones for a verizon network?

can you just order any phone off the internet and take it it to verizon and put your number on it?

You have to make sure the phone runs on CDMA network. If the phone does, then you can put your number on it and use it on Verizon.

Yes, only if the phone is meant for Verizon, only their phones work on their network, you can't just get any phone.
