Can you use parts from an '89 corolla on an '87 Camry?

My corolla is dieing and I was gonna get this beater '87 Camry. I was just thinking if it was possible to use some parts from my '89 corolla on the camry?

  2. It depends on what type of parts, if they are engine parts, then I wouldn't really reccomend it. If you're talking about audio or something, then you can use them on the camry. Personally, I prefer the Camry to the Corolla, so that's why I wouldn't suggest you take the stock Corolla's engine parts and swap them into the Camry. Hope this helped!

  3. Light bulbs? Two different chassis two different power trains. there won't be much interchangeability just try to set your sights higher a 1987 camry won't have safety or economy of modern Y2K cars. Remember there is a minimum level of pride. Beater already denotes lack of care and respect. Just how well will you take care of a beater? And just how much do you have to rely on your transportation. If possible it is time to go green abandon cars all the way. Save on fuel save on insurance. Ride A bicycle and loose weight.
