I was just wondering if you can use rca cables and speaker level inputs at the same time on an amp? Is it just not worth it and just use rca?

  1. No, most amps will only allow you to use one. If you have RCAs just use them, RCA signals send a higher quality signal then high level speaker signals. If you want your volume control to control everything proportionally you need to use inputs that are alike. It's just not a good idea. If you need more RCAs use splitters.

  2. I don't know jack about cables but our avatars could be twins.

  3. Why would you on the same amp? Run the RCA's and leave it at that.

If your thinking of doing that cause you only have one pair of RCA's and you want (2) for instance, just use a "Y" connector on both individual cables to create 4 channels. You'll lose "Fader" option though on your head unit.
