  1. Depends on what state you're in. Personally, I prefer to use a rifle on deer, but that's just me.

  2. never use a shotgun on deer use 30 06

  3. nah...be a man and use a bow and arrow!

  4. Wow, there have been some horrible answers.....

Like that guy who said "Why kill for the sport...blah blah"

Im tired of this c**p. You never said youre going to hunt. You just asked a legitamite question, and these vegan/peta idiots jumped to conclusions=.......GAH!

    ----------:

To answer your question: It just depends on your states laws. Call fish and wildlife and ask.

  5. YES, Yes, yes.**

  6. You probabally could but a bow or rifle is a far more humane and ethical kill a shotgun destroys the deer and the meat.

  7. Usually, but laws vary by state so call your local Fish and Game for detailed regulations. Never leave it to chance.

  8. What kind of sicko shoots animals to death for fun and sport?

  9. you need to call your local fish and wildlife. someone call tell you any thing on here.

  10. The answer is "Yes" Special Regulations Areas: (all of Allegheny, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia counties) Muzzleloading long guns, bow and arrow, manual or auto-loading shotguns, 20 gauge or larger, slugs or buckshot only; crossbows and .410 shotguns with slugs. Buckshot may not be used in Allegheny. General Statewide Seasons Manually operated center-fire rifles, handguns and shotguns with all-lead bullet or ball, or a bullet designed to expand on impact. The use of buckshot is illegal, except in the Southeast Special Regulations Area

  11. If you aren't a good enough shot with a rifle or bow, then you don't belong hunting.  You'll hurt or kill some other poor hunter with a shotgun.  Say -- is this d**k Cheney asking???

  12. Yes, you can if you want to.

there are some special regulation areas through out the US where a shotgun is mandatory as the only firearm allowed for deer hunting.

I personally don't like the use of buckshot on deer but rifled or sabot slugs work extremely well. Don't think of yourself as being handicapped with a shotgun in the woods.
