  1. Short answer, No.

    There are some Skype software projects that allow you to dial out to a special number and then it uses Skype to connect you, but you are still paying Skype AND for airtime.

    The blackberry doesn't have the processing power to run VOIP (the protocol Skype uses). Maybe in a future Blackberry...
