* They all have auto shut-off features that are designed to increase the time the cameras batteries will provide power.

* Batteries are designed to shoot a certain number of images, not stay on and provide power to the camera for long periods of time.

* You would have to find a program that would take the output from your camera and video stream it to the Internet.

This is a lot of work, when you can buy a "real" webcam" for under $25 that is powered by the computer.
