Can you use the garmin 200 for personal tracking?

Are you talking about the nuvi 200?  The nuvi 200 does not have a user-accessible tracklog.  The trip computer will record speed and distance for you, but this particular nuvi will not show the track you took nor will you be able to use it to backtrack.  You can save locations as favorites, though.  For snowmobiling and hunting, I suggest you get a handheld GPS receiver.
