We have an aloe plant and someone told us we could cut a piece of it and apply the liquid that comes out of it on a burn. Two questions:

1. Does it work?

2. If so, how can you store the liquid for later use?

  2. yeah it works really well

and yes u can store it fot later!

    hope this helps

  3. yes it works well but you really cant really store it for later. just snap a leaf off as needed.

  4. I've never tried it before, but according to some sites, yes, it does soothe burns. You can simply store the unused gel in a container for later use - the effects of it will still be the same no matter when you use it.

  5. That is actually really great to sooth burns.Yes ,it works. You can put the rest in a  little dish for another time. Also ,a little note which is common sense to most people, butter on burns is a real bad idea.Ouch! That just makes it burn more.I know someone who did that to their child.

  6. Yes, just break a piece of the plant off and squeeze out the gel an apply it directly to the burn. Honey is also good for burns.

  7. I have actually done it and it does help to relieve the pain of a burn.  the liquid is best stored in the plant.

  8. ABSOLUTELY AND WORKS GREAT ...........JUST CLIP A SMALL PORTION OF PLANT ..NO STORING ANY OF IT ...

  9. yes and it does work i use it all the time

  10. once I touched a hot,hot pan with my entire hand so i burn it. That day I did not have my tube of aloe i buy @ forever-living.net. So i cut a piece of my sister's aloe plant and put it all over my hand it stop the burning right there. I don't think you can store Aloe

because it becomes black after a while due to

to oxidation plus once cut if not process correctly it loses its properties. you can check forever-living.net they got 100% stabilized aloe vera.

  11. Yes it does work.

and ive always been told to keep it cold like in the refrigerator.

    works for me.

  12. It is perfect and extremely effective for burns.  Just keep an aloe plant indoors.  When you require the juice, cut a small piece from the plant.  No need to store it or if you need to re- apply throughout the day, just put the piece from the plant in a baggie, in the frig.  BTW- aloe juice is sold for consumption as well.  Good for the entire body.
