it wont have good effect as on paper but yes you can use it why not..and up to your imagination what you want to produce..a true artist comes up w/ dramatic compositions using unconventional materials ..that for a fact

yes, they have water color, canvass, in between layer

you have  a gloss or

it call aquarell by scmincke because unlike paper

if you do  not like it ,wash it  right off,so you seal it

in between coats, also when your done you have to

spay it with uv-resistant clear from krylon so it will not

fade, it easyer to use than paper, because it does

not stain like paper if you try to remove it !!!

Watercolor reacts to the surface upon which it is applied. A gessoed canvas does not allow the absorption as well as paper...and raw canvas will just bleed your colors.
