  1. NO too much flexing

use plastic bags zip lock best fold top OK

  2. Use a plastic bad and cut a little hole on the corner..?

  3. Yes you can use wax paper but you will have to use several layers of thickness.  Parchment paper works better.

Truth is the plastic zipoc style bag with a hole cut in the corner is probably your best bet.

Another thing you can do is line a light weight kitchen towel with wax paper and then fold it up in a cone.  The kitchen towel will support the wax paper.  You will need to work quickly and may have to fashion a new cone every dozen or so.

This is from a previous YA Question:

    • Things You’ll Need:

    Parchment or wax paper

    Sharp knife or scissors

    Tape (optional)

    Step 1

Decide how large the bag should be. Decorating a cake for a child's birthday would require one or more small bags. Piping a goat cheese and red pepper spread onto canapes would require a larger bag. Whatever the size, cut a square of parchment paper.

    Step 2

Fold it in half so that you have a double layered triangle. Fold it again and crease the edge.

    Step 3

Carefull roll the parchment paper. Holding the crease, line one side of the triangle up. Roll the other side of the triangle around the first.

    Step 4

Fold the parchment paper down around the wide opening. Now would be the time to tape the outer side as well but with a little practice this is unnecessary.

    Step 5

Fill your cone with your filling. Pinch the wide opening shut and fold it down as you would a bag lunch. Don't leave too much air in there.

    Step 6

Cut the narrow tip off so that you have an opening in the size you desire. Hold the narrow tip as you would a pen or pencil. With your other hand, grasp the wide folded end. Squeeze the folded end with your hand, the filling should come out of the narrow end.
