Can you use your visa card to buy stuff online, even if you don't enough money in the balance?

  1. Credit is just that: credit. It means that you agree to pay back whatever  money you "borrowed" from them by making that purchase on line. You could have zero $ in your bankbook, makes no difference. You're just in debt for "x$"  in credit.


  2. Visa card is a credit card. It doesn't matter how much you have in bank balances. You just need to have available credit with the credit card company/bank.

    If you are referring to debit card, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't, but if it does you will usually get charged overdraft fees which could be around 30 dollars.

    Additionally, it is against the law to use the debit card if you know you do not have funds in you checking account to cover the purchase.

  3. You can. However, I would not encourage you to do that as the interest rate could be high.
