Can you voice record on the LG enV2?

yes you can and here's how:

On the exterior keypad hold down the CLR button until a microphone image appears.

Then press OK to start recording and press OK again to stop recording.

To hear the message open the phone up and select MENU, then MEDIA CENTER, then MUSIC & TONES, then MY SOUNDS.  The recording you just made will be at the top of the list and it will be named with a bunch of numbers.  You can select the sound file and then select OPTIONS to rename the file.
