  1. There are guys who took to walking seriously, maintaining a log, one of whom has done 89,000miles (I read it in a newspaper). Hunter-gatherers of Amazon, Indonesian jungles or Congo do this.

  2. Well, yes you can. Most of us do.

    Normal walking speed = 3 mi/h

Normal lifetime of a human (70 years) = 613,605.552 hours

    to walk

If you walk all your life: 1,840,816.656 miles...

So even if you walk 5.4% of your life, you WILL walk that much. Most of us walk more than that.

Hey! Who knew? I've walked more than 100,000 miles!

  3. Assuming you can walk for 65 years of your life, that works out to 4.2 miles day. With an average walking speed of 3m/h you only have to walk for 1.5 hours a day. I think most people would do this in their daily life without making any special effort. If you were a keen walker or runner you could easily cover over 200,000.

Gazi: You think you only walk 2 miles in day? No way, not unless you spend nearly your entire life sitting down. And 25 days in a month? What happened to the other 5? Do you spend all your weekends in a coma or what?

  4. easily life expectancy= 3 score years and ten= 70 years

    70 x365 days plus 17 for leap years=25567 days

    100000  divided by 25567 = 3.911 miles per day

this is probably walked by most people without even trying

  5. This not possible for an ordinary person, with simple calculations it proves that is not possible cosidering the following factors:

-Average age is      70 exclude the childhood about 5 years

    - Active hours/day    8 hrs

    - Walking / day          2 miles for 25 days a month

    - 25x2x12x70  = 42,000 miles

I think the average distance is between 40,000 to 60,000 miles

  6. YUP IF I WANT TO..........thats a healthy diet
