Can you walk to Trafalgar sqare from Buckingham palace?

  1. On a nice day you could walk, but if it's bashing down with rain, taking a bus is best...

    My favorite way of getting around is by bike.


  2. you can very easily walk to trafalger square from bp aall you need do is just to walk down the mall through the arch at the bottom then straight away you wil see the lions in trafalger square

  6. I've done it, and I'm old and decrepit. For an alternative to the Mall, you could walk in St James' Park, and see the ducks and other wildlife.

  7. yes it easy, if you cut through the park directly opposite buck palace and straight through horseguards parade, turn left and trafalgar square is just at the end of the road, it will take you no more than 15-20 mins to walk

  11. Yes you can. If you have your back to the main gates of Buckingham palace, walk straight up the red road. Walk under the arch and then turn left. You will then be at Trafalgar square.

  12. It is a nice stroll along the Mall towards Admiralty Arch which will take about 15 minutes or so. You will see Hyde Park on one side, Green Park on the other; St James' Palace. Most enjoyable. Hope you like.

    and if you want to use the tube or bus you will need to walk almost that distance anyway to make a connection

    that's why I am at home answering stupid questions

    and not out walking about

    of course you could do what I do and ask someone to push you in a wheelchair

  14. Yes - the walk from Buckingham Palace to Trafalgar Square is straight down the Mall from Buck-House via Admiralty Arch - a walk of about 15 - 20 minutes.

  16. yes it is 0.8 miles, down the Mall, and an average person should be able to walk it in 6 minutes.

It is a short, pleasant walk up the Mall, you can stroll in the park if you take a small detour, Lots of John Nash houses just off the Mall and you will pass the national Police monument - raqther uninspiring on your left,  just before getting into Trafalgar Square - should not ake much more than 10 minutes walking
