Can you wash an l.l. bean backpack in the washing machine?

I really have to clean mine for school tomarrow.

I used to throw my back pack in the washer every few months. Unzip all of the zippers. Wash with towels or jeans. And then hang upside down to dry.

I typically take a damp washcloth and wipe it down, turn it inside out and wipe down again. That's really all it takes.  I suppose you could put it in the washer if you really wanted, I grew up throwing my sneakers in the washer and never had problems.

yup it will be fine, either wash with some towels or all by itself in a small load. Hang to dry. Good as new!
