I have a cabbage patch doll that I've had since I was younger. It has yellow yarn looking hair, and some white vinyl boots that she wears. If I wash it will I ruin it? I wanted to give it to my niece.

  1. yes it will make it stretch or rip. (i think) LOL um if  you wash it it will definitely ruin it thats all i know!!!

  2. Do what Janass said (pillowcase) only don't put it in the dryer, just let it air dry.  I put mine in the dryer when I was a kid and it melted it's head.  It wasn't a goopy mess, but it deformed it.  Mine was a bald preemie, so I don't know how the hair would hold up but I'd probably braid it before washing, just in case.

  3. This Doll is washable. You will need to put her in a WHITE pillow case and pin it shut then was it with a load of towels or white clothes. Leave her in the pillow case and dry along with the rest of the load. When the rest of the load is dry, you doll may not be all the dry clear through take her out of the pillow case and let her air dry on a drying rack or the table on a dry WHITE towel.
