Can you wash couch pillows?

My puppy peed on my couch pillow. It does not have a zip cover, instead I have to wash teh entire pillow stuffing and all if i'm going to do it. Do you think this will ruin it?

it might make it lumpy do you have an upholstery cleaner?  like i carpet cleaner with a hose that has a little brush on the end or something like that?  if so maybe you can clean it like that.

If the stuffing is acrylic then it should work fine. Personally I would take it out and wash it as I like my belongings nice and clean. If it does ruin it then buy some acrylic type stuffing or wadding and replace it - it is not expensive and perhaps it will give your couch a new lease of life.

BTW - a good way to clean up animal urine off carpets etc is to spray or pour some soda water or club soda as it is called in some countries onto the wet area, blot up the wet with paper towel  until pretty well dry - it neutralises the urine and the smell
