The best way is to sign up for satellite service from SkyPerfecTV.  Then you can watch many American TV shows on channels like Fox Japan and ESPN international and MTV Japan.  These networks show lots of American and Japanese programming.  Unfortunatley, you cannot watch the same actual feeds as back home.  Military people have access to Armed forces radio and TV.  One other option I worked on was to install a SlingBox back home and watch some TV via the internet.  The problem with that is picture quality and the time schedules.

    Most major hotels carry a cable TV or Satellite TV package with international programming


  2. It depends what kind of TV you mean. All major hotels offer CNN or BBC news, and sometimes a channel like NBC, but that's about it. If you are living there, you can always get a Satellite dish that gets US TV. Is that what your question is asking? You can also, like everyone else around the world, watch TV on your computer.
