Can you watch tv on the internet?

Is there anyway to get the channels from tv on your computer and watch them from the computer monitor? Is there like a site I can go to or do I have to download something?

Actually, there are more sites than you can count that will allow you to do this.  I had the same question just a few days ago and while I'm still trying to find the "Best" site to do this, I have found the shows I was looking for at:

www.hulu.com

www.broadcast.com
