Can you wear a jammer to water polo?

Yes, but it somewhat depends on what level you are playing at.  

The reason why the women's game is so much more grabby than the guys is because they have so much more suit under the water to grab onto.

Factor in also that the higher the level of play, the more grabbing that goes on, as well.

A jammer would give me more suit to grab, particularly if playing or guarding the hole set.
