No. If you do wear a jean jacket, I'd go with jeans. Preferably a darker wash than the jacket.

No, i wouldn't; the jean jacket is fall/winter clothing and the shorts are for summer. either go with the jean jacket with khakis, or go with a different shirt and the brown shorts.
