I have an overbite, and I know I won't look good with braces. My mom says I will look cute but i don't believe her. Is there a way I can wear a retainer without getting braces? I really don't want them

  1. No. To have and get a retainer you must have had braces on previously. If you have an overbite the best way to go is to get referred to an orthodontist by your regular dentist

  2. A retainer is only used to keep the teeth in place when your brace comes off, because teeth can move very quickly out of shape. But you could wear a removable brace which is like a retainer but has wires to push your teeth, this means you may not need train tracks!!!!!

    Hope I helped
