Can you wear hot dog costumes on a plane?

Question

I'm going on holiday with my mates next week (16 of us) and we've bought big hot dog costumes but only just realised that they are too big to put in our luggage. So we are going to wear them through the airport and onto the plane, would they allow this?

The Airport is London Gatwick btw.

i Don't know. but trhat would be to funny is all of you wore hot dog suits of a plane.

LOL,maybe not because you may not fit on the entering plane door.

um not sure could you carry them on because it maybe hard to sit comfortably on the plane how long is your flight?

LOL! I really don't know, but I wouldn't count on it. The security is very tight these days, so they probably would not tolerate  te hot dog costumes. You could call the airport and find out though.

probably, but i wouldn't recommend it

they might make you take them off at security to search for hidden sharp objects etc. making the journey a little more stressful than it has to be.

plus you would get a lot of attention from travelers who think you may be a tad nuts XD

and 4 hours is a tad long in a costume ..it might get a bit hot and sweaty in there

...but by all means do
