Can you wear track pants for snowboarding?

Question

I was wondering if you could wear track pants for snowboarding if you will have a wick away layer on the bottom? just curious.. I will be going on easter weekend which is the 2nd to last week in march. Thanks

you can get away with it especially if you're only going once--no point buying expensive pants--just avoid sitting down to strap into your bindings, eventually your track pants will soak thru if you keep sitting

wear some thermals or under armour underneath and you should be fine.

it works but not too well. if you are going to keep snowboarding id advise investing in some snowpants. if not then they should work fine for one or 2 times a year.

Yeah you can, I suggest they tie because if you wipe out you're going to be very uncomfortable if snow gets you know where. You need to get thermals like underarmor or something, or you will be whining how cold you are.

I wear anything I want under my Carhartt clothes. They can be used again for so many other purposes.

i jsut did yesterday nd it worked ok but it didnt wick away the mosture as well as i wanted it too
