Sure you can!  In fact, most people do, from what I've seen- they just go for a simpler type of wedding dress instead of the big ballgown type with a train and all that.

You're still a bride, even if you're not having the big, fancy wedding.  Don't let the small size of your ceremony make your day any less important.

Yes you can, registry offices are places where people go to get married if they are not religious etc, it is not any less of a wedding, so yes, of course you can wear a wedding dress.

Yes of course you can - I have seen quite a few brides doing it.

basically as long as it isn't indecent you can wear whatever you like - it is your day - make the most of it.  If a wedding dress is your choice - wear it.

Some of the registry offices are quite elegant these days - not just a bleak office - ours is a very old tudor house with nice gardens and brides in wedding dresses do not look out of place at all.

I agree with Brian. I was passing Winchester registry office recently which is a beautiful building, and a bride emerged looking very happy and lovely in a formal wedding dress. Wear whatever makes you happy!
