Can you work in a salon with no formal training??

i am looking for jobs and i have dyed my hair for 4 years and love doing others hair.

NO you can't. You need a license.

In the past many clients got chemical burns and other damages from untrained people so now you really need formal training and a license. At the end they are just saving you from going to jail and/or having to deal with costly legal sues.

Probably not, most places require licensing and such, but I think the laws might vary from state to state.
