  1. Sure I can!

I'm an 8th grade girl who is otherwise too lazy to do my social studies or English homework. I know that trying in school is for losers and idiots who one day will have awesome jobs and make loads of money; but right now I'm more caught up in more moronic attempt to become popular! I also don't understand those popular kids who are smart! Talk about a paradox!

  2. Why don't you write it in YOUR own words? You've obviously copied this from somewhere for your homework but don't want it to look like that.

You'll understand better if you reword it yourself.

  3. Yes, I can.

But, if you do like others have suggested and just "switch around the words" you are NOT paraphrasing and putting it into your own words.  It's still plagiarism.  You have to literally put it into your own words.

To do this: Read the section a couple of times, cover it up, and then write down what you understand it said.  (If you look, it'll be too easy to copy.)

  4. Despite the fear and objection of canal owners, landowners , enviromentalisits and coach companies, the gouvern, ent encouraged the growth of railways. Perhaps to ease these fears, perhaps for other reasons, the gouvernment also moved to regulate and control the railways.

  5. We've done enough homework on here tonight already.

  6. governments   generally  regulate  the  development  and  running  of  railways.  sometimes  there  are complaints  from  bus  companies  etc   about  unfair  competition

  7. despite the immense fear and objection of people such as landowners, enviromentalists and coach companies, the government encouraged the new growth of railways. the government also moved to control or regulate the railway for their purposes.

something like that. switch it around. add some words. take somewords. yep/

  8. Putting someone else's work in your own words is paraphrasing and still requires a reference.  It doesn't really matter if you directly quote the author or put it into your own words, you still need to acknowledge your source.

  9. Yes I can

  10. yep.the growth of railways was encouraged by the goverement due to the fear and disagreement from the owners of canal , landowners ,enviromentalists and the coach company .They moved to regulate and control the railways

  11. Despite the apprehensiveness and disagreement of canal owners, landowners, environmentalists and coach companies, the government encouraged the development of railways, while  also moving  to manage and administrate the railways.

    how do you like that?

  12. Yes, I can write 'this in ur own words' but it just looks like type set when you're on a computer. My writing is neat but not this uniform. When I was at school I used to write all the time, especially the stuff that was my own homework and as an adult it's very satisfying to look back on such days and be proud that all that I have achieved in life was done through my own hard work and I am beholden to noone nor pretending to be something else. There will always be an obstacle in life that'll catch you out othewise.
