Can your car be impounded for Tint in Iowa?

I live in Marion, Iowa and have herd that if pulled over an officer can impound your car if your front driver and passenger side windows are tinted. Is this true or is it just a traffic ticket?

I live in Davenport, Iowa. my cousin got pulled over for having too much tint and all she got was a ticket. they did warn her to take it off. she did and there has not be a problem since. however if you keep getting pulled over..they MIGHT be able to impound it.
