I have a Nissan NX COUPE 1991 model, i came to my car one morning to go to work, started it and then drove off straight away, about 30 sec's down the road the car switched off automatically, i tried to start it again, it wouldnt start, after the 4th time whilst pushing on the gas it finally started. now this usually happens when i first start my car and then drive off straight away, regardless of the weather, or whether if ive started it earlier that day, and usually it revs high around 2000 rpms.

should i let it idle when i first put it on and wait for it to rev back to 1000rpms? Does that mean its like warming itself or something?

get back and tell me what my dam car's doing?!

  1. its prob the fuel system take it to the shop and let them check it out

  2. the choke or idler motor is not work properly

  3. Your engine is not getting enough fuel. If it has been doing this since you got it, it might just be improperly tuned. It's more likely that there is something wrong with your fuel system. Take it in to have it checked out. This could cause serious problems to your engine if you let it go unchecked.

  4. this could be any number of things, but the first thing that comes to mind is the fuel pump may be going bad, or you have a clogged fuel filter or fuel rail.  you should probably take it to a shop and have them check out the fuel delivery system.
