  1. No! And you and your fellow workers can have a class action law suit! Employees can't be threatened..or fired unless their work and work habits are bad. And, if you get fired for not participating in the vote, that a retaliatory action, and you can sue his pant off......

  2. Probably not.

Unless you signed something when you got the job stateing that you must Vote.

  3. No- it's your right NOT to vote, just as much as it is to vote. And no, your ballot is not public information. And, If you get fired, it's discrimination.

  4. Harassment constituting as Grave Threat is the crime committed by the employer who forces the workers to vote with a threat of termination.

  5. It's not legal so lie to your employer and tell them you did.

  6. Absolutely not, however they can give you their opinion and they can even ask for your vote.  Your vote is private.

  7. That's illegal and your vote is not public information.  Report him for that.

How you vote is private -- but whether or not you vote is public information. Your employer could very well go and find out if you voted.

  11. No; thats illegal.

  12. nope - voting is a right, not a requirement- though I would encourage you to vote, voting is a private thing- no one needs to know whether you do or not and it is no ones business who or what you vote for if you do choose to vote.

Thus, the privacy booths.  No one can bully you into voting.
