Can your eye alter the axis of a contact lens?

If both eyes share the same properties except the 'axis', would wearing, say, a right lens in your left eye eventually alter the axis?

P.S. Don't answer if you don't know.

  1. It may change the axis, because there is a good chance it won't rotate the same way on your other eye. But the chances are that it will rotate in the opposite direction and stay blurry.

In other words, it's doubtful it would settle at the right axis for the eye it wasn't meant for.

And, if they don't rotate at all, then it will be wrong from the start.

If  you mean, will it get better if you wear it long enough...then the answer is  no.
